What is BoldPersonals?

BoldPersonals is a private ads platform designed to bring the convenience of online dating wherever and whenever you need it. Our goal is to live up to the old days of Backpage and Craiglist Personals.

This is why we deliver to you a dating platform which you can use as you please to post personal ads, find casual encounters, adult dates, and even more.

Whether you want to find the love of your life, a one-night stand or experience the thrills of a platonic relationship, you can do it all here. There are plenty of categories on BoldPersonals you can choose from, ranging from casual encounters to dom and fetish.

How can I use BoldPersonals?

Using BoldPersonals is very easy. All you need to do is register an account for free, and post your first ad. Registration is a straightforward process.

You only need to enter your desired username, your email address and choose a password. Our website is mobile-friendly so that you can post ads and review other people ads on the go.

Once you create an account, you can log in and customize your profile, browse through ads, or create your own ad in any of the available categories.

What’s the minimum age requirement to use BoldPersonals?

You must be at least 18 years old to create a BoldPersonals profile.

Can I use BoldPersonals for free?

BoldPresonals offers its services free of charge. You can create an account, post your personal ads, browse through ads, leave comments, and send private responses without even spending a dime.

How to add a new posting?

We tried to make adding a new posting as seamless as possible. You will, of course, have to log in. Once you do, you can add a new posting in a few clicks. Click on the “Post an Ad” located in the top bar menu to start the process. First, you will need to:

  • Create Ad title
  • Select the category
  • Enter short keywords aka tags
  • Add your ad description

After you click next, you will be able to customize your ad. You can upload ad images if you want, specify add type, your age, and gender. The only required fields here are “City” and “ZIP/Postal Code”.

Can I leave contact information in the posting or comment body?

For privacy and security reasons, you’re not allowed to leave contact information in the posting or comment body, since all the people on the platform (including unregistered visitors) are able to view it. If you want to leave contact information, you can include it in the message body when you’re responding to a posting.

What does “Set Address on Map” mean?

Some people want to be easily found by others. On top of that, physical distance is one of the major factors in making online hookup decisions. This is why we wanted to extend a helping hand to people who want to make their location known to other people.

The option “Set Address on Map” will help you disclose your location to people who are interested in your ad, and make it easier for you to meet and hook up with new people.

What are the benefits of featuring my posting on home or category page?

While you can post your ad free of charge here at BoldPersonals, we have also decided to provide you with a means to make your ad more visible and discoverable.

This is why we have Silver and Gold ad posting packages. If you choose either of these, your ad will be featured on the homepage slider and category page slider.

The benefits are many, including that both registered and unregistered website visitors can see your ad as soon as they arrive on the site. The same applies to the category pages.

Website visitors interested in specific ad categories will also be able to see the featured ad on the category page slider.

What’re the costs of featuring my posting on home or category page?

BoldPersonals currently has 2 Ad posting packages. Posts featured on home and category page are included in both of these packages. The Silver package comes with a price tag of $6.

Ads posted via Silver Package last for 6 months and during this time, you can feature the ad on the Category or Home page.

The Gold Package includes a small recurring charge for placing your ad. It costs $6 for the first 6 months, and $3 for every following period of 6 months, up to 4 installments. This package will also allow you to place your ad on the home or category page.

Both paid packages will also put you in a position to easily find out who is interested in your ad through the Dashboard, where you will receive information about all the leads.

How to upgrade free posting to premium?

You can upgrade any of your free ads to premium ones at any given time. All you need to do is click on “My Dashboard” in the upper right corner, and select “View Ads” in the “User Options” section. In the table that opens up, you will be able to see all your ads.

Find the add you want to upgrade to premium and click on the pencil icon (Edit Ad) in the “Options” column. To upgrade your posting to the premium, you will have to select either the Silver or Gold Package in the last phase of the ad creation wizard.

Do you have a refund policy?

Unfortunately, BoldPersonals doesn’t currently have a refund policy. If you are experiencing troubles with BoldPersonals platform, you can contact our support team via the following link.

How to manage/view my postings?

Managing and viewing your postings is very simple. Once you are logged in, click on “My Dashboard” right beside the “Logout” link in the upper right corner of your screen. Scroll down to find “User Options” and click on “View Ads”.

This will open a table which contains all your ads. You will be able to see your ad titles, number of views, status, and access options. You can manage your ad in two ways. You can edit it by clicking on the pencil icon (Edit Ad), or delete it by clicking on the red X icon.

What are the Leads of my posting?

The leads for your posting, in fact, represent other BoldPersonal users’ interests in your add. If any of the BoldPersonals users see your add and decide to respond to a post, it will appear as the lead of your posting.

You will be able to see the Ad title that generated a lead, name of the user, her/his email address, and read the message.

How to view/remove the Leads of my posting?

You can view and/or remove the leads of your posting anytime you want. You will have to be logged in to your account on BoldPersonals to do that. Click on “My Dashboard” in the upper right section of your screen and find “View Leads” under the “User Options” section.

This will open up the “Your Leads” table. The table has the following columns:

  • Ad Title
  • Name
  • Email Address
  • Message
  • Action

On this screen, you can read the message the visitor has sent you, and choose to respond to it or delete it via the buttons in the “Action” field.

What’s the difference between leaving a comment on and responding to a posting?

While comments and responses may appear similar, they are very different means of communication on the BoldPersonals platform. Every comment you leave will be visible to everyone until the ad expires. This includes unregistered visitors as well.

On the other hand, the response can only be viewed by the poster. It’s a more private and secure way to respond to a posting.

How to view and delete the comments on my posting?

You can view the comments on your postings effortlessly. Log in to your BoldPersonals account, click on the “My Dashboard” link, and find “View Comments” under the “User Options” section. This will open up the “Your Comments” table where you can see details about comments left by visitors on your postings.

The table contains information about the author of the comment, the text body of the comment, and in response to what posting it was left. You can delete any comment on your postings by clicking the red X icon in the “Action” field.

How to edit my profile?

If you want to customize your profile, you can do it by accessing your dashboard. Click on “My Dashboard” and select “Edit Profile” under “User Options” section. Make any changes you want and make sure to click “Update Profile” on the bottom of the page to save your changes.

How to reset my password if I forget it?

If you forget your password, we have a system in place to recover it. Click on the “Login” and find the “Lost your password?” link right next to the “Log In” button. Enter your username or the email address you used to register your account with us. Click on the “Reset my password” button and follow the instructions in the mail you will receive. Don’t forget to check your junk or spam email folder.

How to delete my account?

Unfortunately, we don’t have the option that allows users to delete their accounts on their own. If you wish to delete your account, we will do it for you. The only thing you should do is send us a deletion request on the contact page.
